Paralyzed Man Proposes To His Girlfriend Three Years After Being Hit By A Drunk Driver

Larry Ragsdale was a high school football and track star who volunteered to fight fires during the summertime. He was planning on proposing to his high school sweetheart, Kelcie Yeoman, during a family outing to Disneyland. But a week before, tragedy struck. Larry was hit by a drunk driver and left in a coma for months.

The doctors weren’t sure if he would make it, but she never lost hope. Larry eventually woke up and after 3 years of physical therapy and surgeries, he was finally physically able to fulfill what he had set out to do years ago; propose to the love of his life.
